As the Marketing Specialist at The Ben West Palm, Rebecca Oppy blends creativity and strategy to showcase the hotel’s distinctive charm. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, she leads innovative campaigns that engage guests and enhance the hotel’s brand presence.
Rebecca began her hospitality journey in 2020, driven by a love for crafting memorable, one-of-a-kind guest experiences. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and experiences throughout Palm Beach County or unwinding with a great book.
A Palm Beach County native, Alexandra Kikendall brings over a decade of experience in hospitality and event management to The Ben. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Event Management, Alex has built her career at some of West Palm Beach’s most notable venues.
With deep local roots and a passion for creating seamless group experiences, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and memorable stays for every guest.
When she’s not at the hotel, Alex enjoys quality time with her family, often discovering new restaurants and exploring the vibrant cultural scene throughout the Palm Beaches.
Kelsey Pfleiderer is a seasoned event professional with nearly 14 years of experience, beginning at Walt Disney World Resort and later working with Give Kids The World to increase event revenue by 85%. She then transitioned to the luxury market, partnering with top Central Florida properties.
Most recently, as Senior Catering Sales Manager at Playa Largo Resort & Spa in Key Largo, she revamped the catering department and doubled bookings, making the resort a leading event destination.
Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys traveling with her husband and son, James, and is passionate about writing, food culture, and wellness.
As The Ben’s Executive Meeting Manager, Isabelle Swank specializes in curating memorable corporate experiences that reflect our “Exactly Like Nothing Else” philosophy. With a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, she brings warmth, professionalism, and creativity to every event she manages. From the initial inquiry to the final farewell, Isabelle ensures every client feels supported, understood, and inspired.

Meet Courtney Simoncelli, our passionate and dedicated Senior Catering Sales Manager, who brings a love for weddings and social events to everything she does!
Originally from Connecticut, Courtney made the sunny leap to Florida a decade ago. As a graduate of Florida State University, Courtney studied Commercial Entrepreneurship and Hospitality Management and has been paving her way in the hotel industry ever since. Courtney thrives on building meaningful relationships with her clients, and her genuine positivity and passion shine through in the smooth, personalized experience she delivers throughout the event sales process at The Ben.
Outside of work, she loves hosting gatherings for friends and family, exploring new restaurants throughout Palm Beach County, relaxing at the beach, and spending quality time with her husband and their miniature Schnauzer, Milton!
Allow me to introduce Colby Shank, our Social Catering Sales Manager hailing from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
With a remarkable career that commenced in luxury resorts, Colby has been deeply immersed in the event industry since 2007. Her true passion lies in orchestrating weddings and ensuring that your special day surpasses even your wildest dreams.
Beyond her professional life, Colby loves going to the beach and spending quality time with her family, particularly her two nieces and nephew.
As a Sales Coordinator, Nick plays a key role in supporting the sales team by managing client communications, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Known for his strong attention to detail and passion for organization, he helps keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time at the beach and relaxing with friends and family. He’s also an avid reader who appreciates winding down with a good book.
Ana Ovalles is the Group Sales and Billing Coordinator, originally from Venezuela, specializing in managing group blocks for both corporate and social events. She began her hospitality journey in 2021 and brings over four years of experience in operations and group sales.
Ana is known for her attention to detail and dedication to client satisfaction. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, drawing, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
